After connecting through a mutual friend made in college at UW-River Falls, Taylor and Andy eventually went on their very first date: a hike at The Kinnickinnic and dinner at the local Applebee's! Six years, one house, two dogs, and one cat later, Andy proposed to Taylor at that same first date spot on their anniversary -- 'the easiest yes,' says Taylor!
These two celebrated their love on a beautiful August day tucked in the Wisconsin woods at Burlap & Belles' venue in Black River Falls, surrounded by the romance of the pines, the love of their friends and family, and the whimsy of wildflowers gracing every corner.
Taylor and Andy were incredibly intentional about making their special day truly about them, prioritizing what would be meaningful to them as a couple over traditions and opinions of others. This led them to incorporate some very special moments and details like booking an Airbnb tiny home the night before their wedding to stay together and wake up together on their wedding morning, having a private reading of their vows to enjoy that intimate and emotional moment with just each other, including their furry friends on their napkins and favors, and even having a friend woodburn every guest's name into their place cards for dinner seating.
