"Ben and I met in college and were good friends for a couple of years before we started to officially date! He finally asked me out the week before I was about to graduate, and let's say the date went great and here we are 7 years later! Because we were such close friends before when we started dating, the relationship felt so easy, and we knew we didn't want to be without one another.
We got engaged on Sunday, October 17th, 2021, in the afternoon on the lawn of the Wayzata library overlooking Lake Minnetonka. We both love the lakes in Minnesota, and it's one of our favorite things about living where we do! I went to brunch with my best friend Mollie, who was in town visiting, and afterward, we went for a walk by the lake. Little did I know I was walking towards a beautiful picnic set up and Ben standing there waiting for me. Ben got down on one knee and proposed, and the rest is history! We spent the rest of the afternoon smiling from ear to ear, sharing the good news with our friends and family, and ended the evening at our favorite pizza place to finish off the celebrations!"

"Our escort card table was a literal dream come true! We knew we wanted a welcome drink when our guests entered the cocktail hour and we also wanted each glass to include a macaron. I passed along my thoughts to Destinee at Skies the Limit Events, and she came up with the most beautiful idea to have our welcome champagne glasses also serve as our guests' escort cards. This idea turned out better than we could have ever imagined, and our guests loved this idea! Brooke Pehler with BP Creationery designed the escort cards, which were just gorgeous, and the delicious French macaroons were vanilla with a raspberry filling baked by Meringue Bakery in La Crosse, WI."
"The majority of our guests were coming from out of state, so we knew we needed a great location that could truly capture the best aspects of La Crosse and keep everything in close proximity for ease of the weekend festivities. The Waterfront Cargill Room is elegant, has lots of natural light, and features indoor and outdoor spaces where our guests could celebrate. This location also allowed for walkable access to our guests' hotels and right in the heart of downtown on the gorgeous Mississippi River."
Hannah and Ben's King's table featured over 50 white single-stem roses and a stunning baby's breath ceiling installation to create the perfect modern yet romantic atmosphere for their reception!
"We love live music and knew we had to go with a band for our big party! Blue Water Kings Band was a show-stopper, and all of our guests absolutely loved them! Our first dance was to "Butterflies" by MAX & Ali Gatie. Ben and I love music, and this song was so perfect for us because it felt upbeat, fun, and romantic!"
