Food + Cake Wedding Films beautifully captured the essence of the day, from the picturesque country setting to the couple’s down-to-earth love. Every fun and thoughtful detail of the day was documented, telling a unique story that reflected the heart and soul of the celebration.
LK Bridal Studio brought a playful twist to the vintage motel vibe with their invitation suite. Featuring a bold mix of peach, natural brown, burgundy, and mint hues, the pieces embraced the Western spirit with genuine tooled leather, arrow motifs, and lively illustrations! The invite popped with vibrant colors and a bold, curly serif font, accented by laser-cut tooled leather corners. Decorative swirls, parallel lines, and cacti illustrations tied the theme together, appearing throughout the envelope liners, RSVP cards, tasseled room keychain favors, and signage.
Additional elements from LK Bridal Studio seamlessly extended the theme throughout the celebration. From a “Howdy Y’all” welcome sign to a bar sign styled like an authentic motel sign with beveled corners, a custom hat bar sign, creative cactus-inspired name cards, and a vintage television straw holder, all added even more retro charm to the day!
The bride looked stunning in a lacy, boho-inspired gown from Brides N’ Belles, perfect for a southwestern cowgirl look. The dress featured flared bell sleeves and a gorgeous train, adding a beautiful touch of vintage charm to the day.
The groom rocked a laid-back cowboy look, pairing a warm-toned brown suit jacket and vest with light blue jeans. He completed the outfit with a white button-down, cowboy hat, bolo tie, and classic cowboy boots. A shotgun shell boutonniere from Melody Rose Designs finished off the look, perfectly capturing that cool, casual Western vibe.
From the concept to the coordination, design, florals, and rental items, Melody Rose Designs masterfully created an awe-inspiring wedding design that embodied the retro southwestern cowgirl spirit with playful vintage motel vibes.
A small ceremony was set in Tranquility Farm’s silo with covered hay bales for seating and an abundance of cacti and cactus-inspired decor for the perfect Western desert feel. Lush, warm-toned floral arrangements beautifully covered each space of the celebration, and lasso bouquets for the bridesmaids were a creative nod to the rodeo influence.
Nestled in the picturesque Wisconsin Dells, Tranquility Farm offers a serene and historic setting that’s ideal for intimate weddings and events with rustic charm. With its lush, greenery-filled grounds and beautifully updated stables, this peaceful location provided the perfect backdrop for a southwestern cowgirl-inspired wedding right in the heart of the Midwest.
Haley Hundt Photos beautifully captured every creative detail of the day with her keen eye for natural light, creating bright and dreamy photographs that timelessly preserved each element of the retro celebration for a cowgirl and her cowboy.
Beta Blue Beauty skillfully styled the bride and bridesmaids with natural, flowing hairstyles featuring effortlessly chic curls and loose braids, while also providing flawless makeup that perfectly complemented their cowgirl vibe.
A lineup of mobile trailers and campers provided a variety of unique activities and entertainment to keep everyone engaged throughout the event. Cocktail hour kicked off with The Mane Tap, which served up a “Motel Cowgirl Margarita” and a selection of other refreshing beverages from their mobile horse trailer bar, perfectly capturing the southwestern spirit of the day!
An inviting reception table was set in Tranquility Farm’s charming stables, with garage doors that opened directly to the outdoors, providing a seamless way for guests to move between spaces and activities. LK Bridal Studio added a creative touch with name cards featuring custom laser-cut cactus designs layered onto tooled leather, each topped with motel arrow signs guiding guests to their seats.
Melody Rose Designs styled the table with vintage plates, pottery, and other decor. Surrounding floral arrangements evoked the warm hues of a desert sunset, creating a stunning and cohesive atmosphere for the celebration.
The entertainment continued with a photobooth camper from The Little Chic Shasta! Their fully remodeled 1963 Shasta camper, lovingly named “Shirley,” was the perfect addition to this retro reception, allowing the couple and their loved ones to capture memories through truly customizable and 100% digital photos.
What says “Western” better than this stunning three-tiered cake from Cowboy David’s Bakery? The bottom layer mimicked intricate printed leather detailing, the middle layer featured classic cow print, and the top layer reflected the dreamy warmth of a desert sunset. It was the ideal sweet treat for a southwestern cowgirl wedding!
Custom patch trucker hats? Yes, please! Pistol & Daisy Co.’s 1960 Shasta camper, named “Muriel,” was stocked with an array of colorful hats and unique patches ready for customizing. This setup provided guests and the couple of honor with a fun, interactive activity, as well as a stylish take-home favor to remember the special day.
