Tucked above the beloved Pearl Ice Cream Parlor, inside La Crosse’s
oldest hotel (and once-notorious brothel), the Grand Hotel Ballroom has
been thoughtfully transformed into a warm, one-of-a-kind venue for
private events.
Built in 1868, The Grand is the city’s oldest surviving hotel and is proudly
listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more than two
decades, we’ve been quietly hosting weddings, parties, and gatherings —
a hidden gem that’s stayed under the radar with little to no advertising.

Would absolutely recommend The Grand Hotel Ballroom for your wedding! My husband and I just had our big day, and it could not have been better. The venue itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and in a great location. Dani was phenomenal to work with throughout the entire planning process, and Scout was there the day of; she was fantastic as well. The bar staff was also great for the entire event.
