Set at the historic and charming Cargill-Pettibone Mansion, this enchanting design features lush florals, vintage-inspired decor, and bookish details, creating a swoon-worthy scene straight out of a Jane Austen novel.

forHisglory Photography by Artina Becker beautifully captured this literary-inspired wedding design, bringing its soft, romantic details to life through timeless, storytelling photography.

Pale pinks, feminine florals, and romance novels took center stage in every beautiful stationery and signage element from LK Bridal Studio. A vellum-wrapped invitation tied with pink ribbon secured by a shimmery pink rose wax seal set the tone. Inside, the invitation featured deckled edges on the top and bottom, with a calligraphic script font and serif font enclosed within an oval frame and surrounded by floral details reminiscent of oil paintings from the Impressionist art movement.

Intricate floral details continued across the suite in the RSVP, details card, menus, and additional artwork, including a custom initial crest for the couple.

The signage included a creative welcome sign shaped like a book and an escort wall of keepsake bookmarks that guests could take home--along with a book--at the end of the night.

The bride's hair, styled by A Curl's Best Friend, beautifully captured the whimsical essence of this literary cottagecore wedding. Inspired by fairytale illustrations and Renaissance fairy art, the stylist created a dreamy half-up/half-down style with soft, bouncy curls, bringing an ethereal touch to her look.

Esthetician Devinne crafted a makeup look that perfectly enhanced the bride's enchanting vibe. A dewy, rosy glow was achieved with a flawless, natural finish, while a bright pink blush and romantic peachy pink lip provided a vibrant pop, complementing the florals and adding to the overall fresh and light appearance.

Charlotte's Bridal & Formal Wear provided stunning fashion for both the bride and groom. The bride wore two gorgeous gowns throughout the day. The first was a playful, strapless A-line gown featuring a leg slit, with a bodice embroidered with large florals and a plunging mesh neckline. The clean, simple skirt added to its fun, flirty vibe, while the lace-up back completed the look. For her second look, she donned a romantic off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare gown with a mesh bodice and exposed boning. Delicate floral embroidery, a subtle button-down back, and a soft pattern along the train gave it an elegant, timeless feel.

The groom looked dashing in a heathered chocolate brown suit, a creamy white shirt, a textured brown tweed tie, and brown shoes--completing his sophisticated ensemble that perfectly fit the cottagecore style.

Built in 1876, the Cargill-Pettibone Mansion was the perfect venue for this soft and romantic wedding design. Located just blocks from downtown La Crosse, the venue's historically charming indoor and outdoor spaces provided a regal, vintage ambiance to the day. In addition to the wraparound porch and front lawn, the elegant indoor architecture, vaulted ceilings, and abundant natural light enhanced the wedding's lighthearted, intimate feel.

Is there anything more romantic than a picnic on the lawn, curled up with your love and a good book? The couple embraced the serene beauty of the Cargill-Pettibone Mansion grounds, enjoying drinks and light bites on a cozy picnic blanket. It was the perfect moment of quiet intimacy, offering a peaceful pause together amidst the celebration.

A showstopping book wall from 4 Sisters Events provided the perfect backdrop to a cozy lounge area, creating an unforgettable themed photo op. This unique, literary-inspired feature added depth and intrigue to the space, offering a beautiful setting for relaxation and memorable photos.

4 Sisters Events brought the vision of this literary cottagecore wedding to life through their impeccable coordination, design, and carefully curated rentals. From the stunning book wall backdrop to the dreamy sweetheart table and thoughtful decor details throughout the day, they added charm and personality to every space.

Lush florals from Bloom and Knot graced every corner of the celebration, filling the venue with soft pinks, blues, whites, and verdant greenery. From the bride's breathtaking bouquet to the groom's boutonniere and every artful accent arrangement, each piece was beautifully cohesive and infused with romance, like a scene straight out of a storybook.

A charming dessert table ended the celebration on a sweet note, featuring an array of delectable treats from LC Custom Treats, LLC. Guests enjoyed grab-and-go delights, including cupcakes, layered jar desserts, and beautifully decorated cookies adorned with floral and book-inspired designs.
