A palette of sage, forest, and muted greens met serene sophistication at Woods & Co Weddings' upscale retreat. Orange Door Weddings led concept, coordination, rentals, and design, creating a thoughtful balance of modern elegance and ethereal details throughout the day. The result is a wedding design that feels polished, approachable, and full of love!
In addition to Orange Door Weddings, this inspiration was a collaboration of talented local vendors, including Haley Hundt Photos, C*Lee Creations, B-Style Floral, Whimsical Design & Decor, Charlotte's Bridal & Formal Wear, Pamperin Salon & Spa, We've Got it Covered, Meringue Bakery & Cafe, and models Kara and Alex from Privileged Model Management.

Whimsical Design and Decor embraced organic textures with an invitation suite full of unique shapes and torn edges. The suite, printed on premium white stock, included four pieces of various sizes, layered and secured with an elegant green bow. The fonts were modern and clean, elegantly contrasted with the script font and structure on the dark green envelope.
Further printed pieces included custom drink and dinner menus, name cards, a seating chart, and a textured, multi-media welcome sign.
Woods & Co Weddings + Events is a new, modern venue located in Pepin, Wisconsin. The woodland property offers an array of serene settings, both inside and out, easily transitioning from ceremony to reception, and even offering on-site accommodations for the couple and their guests.
The styled shoot began in the Indoor Ceremony Room, perfect for couples who prefer a stunning, temperature-controlled space to tie the knot (or assurance against inclement weather!). The vaulted, air room boasts abundant natural light and a fireplace backdrop that can be decorated to fit any vision. B-Style Floral framed the fireplace in asymmetrical florals, on the mantlepiece and the floor.
Charlotte's Bridal & Formal Wear styled the couple in wedding fashions that were soft, elegant, and ethereal. The bride wore a dreamy A-line gown with a structured sweetheart corset and exposed boning. Trendy brocade fabric elegantly pleated at the waist, flowing into a full skirt with a high slit. Her look was completed with optional, puffy sleeves that sat right above the elbow.
The groom wore a medium-tone, sage-green suit with a white, buttoned undershirt and a satin bow tie, and was accessorized with a whimsical, oversized pocket floral by B-Style Floral.
Pamperin Salon & Spa chose soft, natural, and effortlessly beautiful hair and makeup looks for the bride. Makeup began with subtly shaped brows, shimmery champagne eyeshadow, and long, romantic eyelashes. A light mauve lipstick brought a finishing touch with an understated pop of color. A braided hairstyle combined polished elegance with a relaxed, romantic touch. Soft texture and loose, face-framing waves added to the contemporary finish.
Set against an exposed limestone cliff wall, the Bluff Wall ceremony site combined elegance with natural texture. Located outside, and including a stage, bench seating, and overshadowed by greenery, this space was simple and naturally beautiful. The aisle was lined with florals, letting the rest of the organic architecture speak for itself.
At the reception, the tablescape featured many beautiful rentals from Orange Door Weddings, starting with serpentine tables set with acrylic chairs and covered in green velvet drapings and linens. Tablewear included (striped glass) chargers, black plates, and scalloped wine glasses. B-Style Floral fashioned a lush floral centerpiece spanning the length of the table and cascading from the edge. Along with abundant greenery, prominent blooms included white hydrangeas, orange anthurium, and scabiosa pods.
The table was set in the aptly named Glass House reception room, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, towering ceilings, glowing crystal chandeliers, and sweeping white draping overhead.
Other highlights included a dessert table and lounge, both set against intricate draping from We've Got it Covered. The dessert centerpiece was a three-tier white cake (including one acrylic layer) from Meringue Bakery & Cafe, spiraled with diagonal frosting and crawling florals and greenery. The cake was framed by tall candles and sat atop a round table surrounded by more florals.
The lounge setup featured an array of furniture and decor pieces, with a dark green velvet couch, granite slab-inspired seating chart, and a champagne tower among the most prominent.
Natural light photographer, Haley Hundt Photos, was right at home, capturing all the details in her signature airy, artful style. She worked with a mix of posing and candid moments, directing upscale, editorial shots (we cannot get enough of the bouquet photos!) that could belong in a European museum.
