La Crosse, Wisconsin, has many scenic locations, and Marilyn & Jared wanted to include some of their favorites in their engagement photos. They began at Bodega Brew Pub, a cozy space known for drinks, gatherings, and live music.
The music themes continued down the street at Deaf Ear Record Exchange, a fun and romantic spot to browse vinyl records, CDs, and collectibles. Afterwards, Marilyn & Jared embraced the small-town architecture, taking photographs along downtown walkways.
Outfit and location changes are a major consideration in engagement photography. For their final photos, taken at sunset, the couple embraced La Crosse’s beautiful bluffs and rolling hills. Both Marilyn & Jared styled second looks fitting the prairie atmosphere. The results were a combination of joyful, golden hour portraits and sweet, candid moments.
